Jill first got involved in Campus Crusade for Christ – now known as Cru – while a student at the University of California at Santa Barbara. In the summer of 1988 she joined their full time staff. Her first assignment was on campus at the University of Southern California. Jill’s first thought was “YIKES ! I’ll be working with the Greek fraternity and sorority system”.
In her own words; “32 years later I’m still doing things with college students that scare me. My assignments have taken me to campuses throughout California and Oregon… leading students to Christ, building them up in their faith and sending them out to continue the process of winning, building and sending. Currently, I am working on 4 campuses in the Sacramento area. I am also having opportunities to train moms, new staff and interns to more effectively share Christ with others. I love this job and I can’t imagine doing anything else with my life.”
Jill’s is a true reproductive discipleship ministry; the hallmark of Harvest Alliance, where she has been a staff member since 2012. In addition to the campus ministries, she has taken advantage of the Cru opportunities to travel internationally to train and encourage the staff abroad.
In her limited spare time, she goes on runs with her dog and does yoga with friends.
