My goal is to provide practical services which encourage missionaries and pastors. The first 7 years of ministry this was in the form of traveling to homes and ministries and helping with tasks which freed the Christian worker to do other ministry. For example, painting, babysitting, yard work...
With the arrival of our son in 2005 it was not practical to continue in a ministry where we traveled full time. The vision of Rapha House was born, a guesthouse offering a comfortable surrounding for ministers to come for rest.
In 2022, Lucien at 91 years of age wanted to retire from the daily work of running a guest house. The house was sold to a missionary couple who continue the work of ministering to pastors and missionaries.
Lucien is working on a photographic project to share with people with the beauty and creation of the Creator.
Bridgette continues to work with Rapha House offering administrative assistance as well as preparing meals for both groups and individuals. Hosting conversational dinners and other activities is another important part of how I connect with the people in the village.
2023 and 2024 are and continue to be transitional years as I adjust to a different way to minister.
