Please forgive our changes, but our normal giving portal is temporarily down at this time. In the meantime, you can still make a donation in the following manner:
At Cultivate Discipleship, it is our mission to provide Biblical training for pastors and church leaders. We desire to equip believers so they can disciple others to grow in maturity as they follow Christ. Since 2018, we’ve been working alongside our students in helping transform their village churches and communities through Discovery Bible Study groups and Farming God’s Way.
Our passion is “to make disciples, who make disciples, who make disciples,” which expanded from our ministry center in Koch Goma to other regions of Northern Uganda. We have had over 120 pastors and church leaders graduate from our year-long discipleship course. Our teaching team will continue to disciple our students through home visits, leadership training in their local churches, and by providing mentorship as they make disciples who make disciples.
We also have two former students who are now serving with Cultivate Discipleship in Abim. We have seen such incredible growth among the tribes there with over 185 people graduating from our Disciple-Makers Training (a condensed version of our year-long discipleship course). There is such deep hunger for discipleship and training amongst the churches in these communities. The fruit has been seen through dozens of new Bible studies started and new churches planted in isolated areas. We also have two more graduated students serving as missionaries in Yumbe, a community that is over 90% Muslim. Since this tribe is considered an unreached people group, sharing the Gospel is being done creatively through business and relationship building.
We currently feel led to incorporate a focus on children and marriage ministry within the local church. Incredibly enough, half of Uganda’s population is under the age of 15. Imagine what God can do with a few leaders trained to minister to these children. The merging of cultural and Biblical values when it comes to marriage is complex. These complications often cause many young adults to leave the church or begin living together prematurely. We hope to equip key people in the church to walk alongside these young couples as they prepare for a godly marriage.
We would love for you to partner with us and all the Lord is calling us to do for His kingdom and His glory!
To train and mentor pastors and church leaders who will disciple other believers to grow in maturity as they follow Christ.
“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” - 2 Timothy 2:2 (NIV)
