For nearly four decades, Fernelly Mora Picado, alongside his wife Noilyn, has faithfully served Jesus Christ—walking with the Church and venturing into some of the most challenging places to share the hope of the Gospel. Married for 35 years and blessed with three children, the Picado family lives out their calling together, united in faith and purpose.
Mountains have become more than terrain for Fernelly—they are sacred classrooms. It is there that God has taught him radical dependence, shaping strategies that reach people not only through words, but through presence and compassion. By providing food, working shoulder-to-shoulder with local communities, and sharing in everyday life, Fernelly and Noilyn embody the love of Christ in tangible ways. They willingly go where paths are steep and few are willing to tread, trusting the truth that God always goes before them.
Their journey has not been without sacrifice. Seasons of hardship, unmet needs, and formidable challenges have marked the road. Yet, through every difficulty, they have witnessed lives transformed and hearts opened to receive God’s Word. These moments—stories of redemption and renewed hope—affirm that every effort has been worthwhile, for this calling is unmistakably from God.
To stand with this ministry is to share in a sacred privilege. It is an opportunity to partner in God’s work—bringing light to hard places and hope to hungry hearts. The Picado family carries this calling with deep gratitude, and they invite others to join them in advancing the Kingdom, one faithful step at a time.
